Koinange Street Avengers is a Kenyan indie rock project started in 2010 by Sam Kiranga and later joined by drummer Anthony Munene. The band aims at bringing back the funky soul of the 80's with the magnificent alternative sound of the 90's. The band came about as an epiphany when the late Daniel Barasa came up with the cheesiest band name ever. We decided to keep the cheese going.
